The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin Prepares Major Optimization Ahead of January Launch

Netmarble is entering the final stretch before the global launch of The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin in January 2026, revealing plans for major performance optimizations following the successful Closed Beta. The beta test received overwhelming positive feedback, attracting attention from players worldwide who are eager to see how the game improves before its official release.
According to Netmarble, over 93% of Closed Beta participants indicated they would play the full version of the game, while more than 85% praised the visuals, story, and combat system. The development team is taking player feedback seriously, planning updates to UI/UX and system performance to ensure a smoother gameplay experience at launch.
During G-STAR 2025, held from November 13–16, the game drew significant attention as attendees tried the demo and enjoyed on-stage activities. Many praised the graphics and immersive open-world design, with comments noting that the visuals were so impressive it felt like stepping into an anime.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is an open-world RPG and a spiritual successor to the mobile hit The Seven Deadly Sins: GRAND CROSS, which has over 60 million downloads. The game focuses on Tristán, the child of main characters Meliodas and Elizabeth, and features content spanning multiple continents. Players can collect “Star Shards,” explore vast locations, and assemble their own combat teams by recruiting knights from The Seven Deadly Sins and Four Knights of the Apocalypse.
The game is set to launch on January 28, 2026, for Android, iOS, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam, promising an optimized, immersive anime-inspired RPG experience.
