Hotta Studio has officially announced the opening of pre-registration for Neverness to Everness, a next-generation open-world RPG set in a supernatural modern metropolis. The game is now available for pre-registration on iOS and Android across SEA, with cross-platform support planned for console, PC, and mobile devices.

Built using Unreal Engine 5, Neverness to Everness aims to deliver a highly immersive city-scale experience where anomalies and humanity coexist in a living, breathing urban environment.

A Supernatural City Where Anomalies and Humans Coexist

Also known as NTE, the game is set in Hetero City, a sprawling metropolis where strange phenomena are part of everyday life. Players take control of characters known as Espers, individuals gifted with supernatural abilities, and freely explore the city while resolving unexpected anomaly-related crises.

From bizarre midnight graffiti skateboards roaming the streets to surreal creatures blending technology and wildlife, the city is filled with strange yet strangely normal events. Along the way, players will encounter allies, partners, and fellow Espers, gradually becoming part of this extraordinary urban ecosystem.

Freedom of Urban Life Beyond Combat

Neverness to Everness goes beyond traditional RPG storytelling by offering deep life-simulation elements. Outside of the main narrative, players can:

To bring the city to life, Unreal Engine 5 technology is used extensively. Features such as Nanite virtualized geometry enhance environmental realism, from detailed interiors of convenience stores and antique shops to densely packed city furniture and decorations.

As players move through the city, distant skyscrapers glow against the night sky, creating a mysterious and atmospheric urban landscape that reinforces the game’s supernatural tone.
