Smart player connectivity through GVoice AI
A major highlight of the presentation was the evolution of the Game Multimedia Engagement (GMES) platform. Formerly known as GME, the platform has integrated advanced AI features to enhance in-game interactions through an upgraded version of GVoice. This system is designed to handle massive scale, supporting titles like PUBG MOBILE and Delta Force across five continents. By utilizing high-fidelity real-time communication, Tencent Cloud enables a seamless experience for multiplayer environments where coordination is critical.
The newly introduced features under GVoice include:
- AI-Enhanced Voice: This system utilizes Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) to allow for smarter interactions. It even supports “interruptible” dialogue, enabling developers to create more realistic bot teammates.
- Magic Voice: Powered by the GVoice AI Timbre Engine, this tool lets players transform their voices with a single click to match their in-game personas.
- Real-Time Translation: A built-in translation engine removes language barriers, allowing international squads to strategize together without delay.

AI-powered security and edge computing
As the complexity of online gaming grows, security remains a top priority for developers. Tencent Cloud showcased its dual-layered defense system combining EdgeOne and Anti-Cheat Expert (ACE). EdgeOne serves as a unified platform that brings AI processing to the “edge” of the network. Consequently, this reduces latency for character interactions while simultaneously blocking malicious traffic. During the demonstration, Tencent revealed that its AI-powered security could reduce harmful data transmission from 80% to just 0.2% in real-time.
Meanwhile, the ACE system continues to protect the integrity of fair play. With over 20 years of experience in anti-cheat technology, ACE now uses behavioral AI to detect anomalies and unauthorized software. This ensures a level playing field for popular titles such as Soul Knight Prequel and various Netmarble releases. By integrating these tools, studios can maintain player trust and server stability without compromising the overall performance of the game.
Accelerated content creation with 3D AI engines
Beyond infrastructure and security, Tencent Cloud introduced the HY 3D AI Creation Engine. This tool is a breakthrough for asset designers, as it can generate high-quality 3D models from simple text, images, or sketches in minutes. Leading global firms, such as Maxon from Germany, are already planning to integrate this engine into Cinema 4D by late 2026. Additionally, the Agent Development Platform (ADP) was launched to help studios build complex knowledge-based ecosystems. This platform uses Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to automate creative workflows, effectively helping artists and developers bring their visions to life at an unprecedented pace.
