【OSHI NO KO】 Season 1 is Now Streaming on Crunchyroll, Season 2 Confirmed for Q2 (Spring)
Crunchyroll has officially announced the acquisition of streaming rights for the massive hit anime “Oshi no Ko”. They are keeping the excitement rolling with Season 2 scheduled to hit screens during the second quarter (Spring) of this year.
This expansion of their anime library reinforces Crunchyroll’s commitment to delivering the most popular contemporary anime series to fans. It opens up the opportunity for viewers to experience the intense storyline from its very beginning, all the way to the highly anticipated Season 3, which will be simulcast directly from Japan exclusively on Crunchyroll.
Through a partnership with the leading global platform HIDIVE, viewers can immediately watch Season 1 with both subtitles and an English Dub. There are also plans to add subtitles in various other languages to support fans worldwide within this second quarter.

About Oshi no Ko
The story begins when rising idol star Ai Hoshino appears at the clinic of Dr. Goro Amemiya, asking him to oversee the delivery of her babies. Prioritizing the safety of her career and reputation, Dr. Goro volunteers to deliver the children secretly so Ai can return to the stage flawlessly. However, right before the delivery, Dr. Goro is murdered by Ai’s deranged stalker. He is then reincarnated as Aquamarine Hoshino, Ai’s own son! Amidst the glamorous lights that hide the rotting core of the entertainment industry, how will he help his beloved mother reach the absolute top of stardom?
Oshi no Ko is an anime adaptation of the award-winning hit manga written by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari (Scum’s Wish).
The anime is directed by Daisuke Hiramaki (Asteroid In Love), with series composition by Jin Tanaka (The Misfit of Demon King Academy). The animation is produced by DOGA KOBO (Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian).
