ASUS has shown off a special ROG Xbox Ally X Cyberpunk 2077 Edition, and it looks straight out of Night City.
The handheld gaming PC has been redesigned with bold cyberpunk styling, bright colors, and patterns inspired by Cyberpunk 2077.
However, this is not a new retail model.
A professional one-of-one case mod
The project was created with the team behind Cyberpunk 2077 and AK Studio, also known as AK Mod.
The outer shell was handmade as a professional case mod.
ASUS clarified that this is a one-of-a-kind display piece.
It is not planned for retail release, and there is no giveaway announcement at the moment.
Fans want special editions
The reveal quickly made players ask for more limited-edition handheld gaming PCs.
ASUS has already released several Ally models, including the original ROG Ally, ROG Ally X, ROG Xbox Ally, and ROG Xbox Ally X.
However, the brand has not released many themed handheld designs for normal buyers.
That feels different from other ROG hardware categories, where game-themed collaborations appear more often.
