LEGO Batman Adds Hilarious Classic Dance Minigame

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is already giving fans plenty to smile about, and one newly discovered minigame may be one of its funniest Easter eggs yet.

The latest LEGO Batman game brings the Dark Knight into an open-world Gotham adventure filled with action, villains, allies, and classic LEGO-style humor.

However, some players have now found a dance minigame that directly references one of the most memorable Batman moments from the 1960s.

A dance minigame with classic Batman energy

One of the game’s minigames lets players dance in a way that immediately feels familiar to longtime Batman fans.

At first, that may not sound too surprising.

LEGO games often turn serious stories into funny moments, and dance sequences are already part of the franchise’s playful identity.

However, this one goes deeper than simple comedy.

The dance moves appear to reference the famous live-action Batman TV series from 1966.

The gameplay also feels similar to rhythm-style dance minigames, with the article comparing the setup to the big dance sequence in Final Fantasy VII Remake.

The Batusi returns in LEGO form

The original scene comes from the 1966 to 1968 Batman TV series.

In the episode Hi Diddle Riddle, Batman is drugged by Molly, a woman working for the villain Riddler.

This leads Batman into a dance that later became known as The Batusi.

The role of Batman in that version was played by the late Adam West.

By referencing that scene, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight gives longtime fans a clever throwback while turning a classic moment into something new and funny.

The developers clearly did their homework

The article notes that the game even includes dialogue similar to the original series scene.

That detail makes the Easter egg feel more intentional than a simple random dance joke.

It shows that the team studied the old source material and wanted to reward players who recognize Batman’s wider history.

For newer players, the scene may simply feel like a funny LEGO moment.

For longtime fans, it becomes a direct tribute to one of Batman’s most meme-worthy scenes.

About LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is an open-world action-adventure game set in Gotham City.

Players step into the role of Batman and face famous DC Super-Villains across the city.

The story begins with Bruce Wayne’s early journey, including his training with The League of Shadows before becoming Gotham’s hero.

The game also features allies such as Jim Gordon, Catwoman, Robin, Nightwing, and Batgirl.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

A Nintendo Switch 2 version is planned for release later.

THIS IS our take

This is exactly the kind of Easter egg LEGO games do best. LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight could have simply added a random dance minigame, but turning The Batusi into a playable joke shows real love for Batman history.
