Epic fantasy returns with enhanced performance and exclusive Nintendo content for the next generation
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition has officially arrived on Nintendo Switch 2, landing just in time for the holiday season. More than a decade after earning over 200 Game of the Year awards, Bethesda’s critically acclaimed open-world RPG now steps onto Nintendo’s newest hardware with refreshed performance and exclusive features designed for the platform.
This Anniversary Edition includes the full base game along with all three major expansions: Dawnguard, Dragonborn, and Hearthfire. Players on Switch 2 can expect improved resolution, faster loading times, upgraded optimization, motion controls, Joy-Con 2 mouse support, Amiibo functionality, and overall smoother gameplay thanks to the console’s enhanced hardware.
Switch 2 players will also gain access to special Nintendo-exclusive items inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, featuring the Master Sword, Hylian Shield, and Champion’s Tunic. Beyond this, the Anniversary Edition unlocks access to hundreds of Creation Club items, offering new quests, gear, spells, dungeons, and more, giving adventurers the freedom to forge their own story in the world of Skyrim once again.
