Trump T1 Returns with Snapdragon 7, 512GB Storage, and Updated Design

Trump T1 Returns with Upgraded Specs and Higher Price
Trump Mobile is set to bring back the Trump T1 smartphone this spring with nearly all-new internal upgrades, according to executives Don Hendrickson and Eric Thomas in an interview with The Verge. The redesigned T1 aims to compete in the mid-range smartphone and notebook market.
Key Specifications
- Display & Chipset: A large 6.8-inch display paired with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series chipset, balancing mid-range performance with energy efficiency.
- Storage & Expandability: 512GB built-in storage with support for additional SD card expansion—a feature increasingly rare in modern smartphones.
- Battery: A 5,000mAh battery ensures all-day usage.
- Cameras: Both front and rear cameras boast 50MP resolution, ideal for selfie and content creation enthusiasts. Reports suggest the rear camera may include Ultra-wide and Telephoto lenses for versatile shooting.
Pricing & Availability
Early pre-orders of the Trump T1 are priced at $499 (approximately 16,600 THB equivalent), but the price will rise for later buyers. The final retail price will not exceed $1,000 (approximately 33,200 THB equivalent).
Production Details

Contrary to earlier marketing, the T1 will not be fully manufactured in the U.S. Instead, production will take place in a so-called Favored Nation, with the final assembly of the last 10 components occurring in Florida. This marks a departure from the original promise of a 100% U.S.-made product.
Market Outlook
Despite clearer information on specs and features, analysts advise caution. Previous T1 release dates were repeatedly delayed, and the most recent design differs significantly from last year’s promotional images. Consumers will have to wait and see whether the device will launch as planned in the coming months.
