Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Kintsugi Launch Game Perfume

Kingdom Come: Deliverance Partners with Kintsugi for Game-Inspired Scent

While modern gaming technology still lacks the ability to transmit smell, fans of the acclaimed medieval RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance can now experience the scent of the game in the real world. Warhorse Studio has officially collaborated with the Czech perfume brand Kintsugi Perfumes to release a signature fragrance. To add more star power to the launch, Adrian Bouchet, who provided the motion capture and voice for Jan Zizka, serves as the model for this unique product. The fragrance is designed to bridge the gap between the iron age of smoke and ash and the modern era of sophisticated style.

The Essence of Ancient Bohemia in a Bottle

The Kintsugi Perfumes Kingdom Come – Eau de Parfum is described as a scent that transcends time. According to the official store description, while armor has been replaced by tailored suits and horses by machines, the laws of attraction and presence remain unchanged. The fragrance aims to leave a lasting impression that words cannot describe. It captures the spirit of a leader—someone who stands out in a crowd as if born to be followed. This scent is not just a perfume but a fragment of the world players have explored for years, carefully crafted to evoke memories of historical adventures.

Ingredients Inspired by Henry’s Journey

Perfumer Martin Švach drew direct inspiration from the ingredients that the protagonist, Henry of Skalitz, encounters throughout the game. The scent includes sage, chamomile, and lavender—herbs frequently used for crafting potions and medicine in the game world. Notes of apple and wild honey represent the food used to restore energy during missions under the command of Jan Zizka. These elements are meticulously layered to create a profile that feels authentic to the rugged yet beautiful landscape of Bohemia.

Detailed Fragrance Profile and Availability

The scent architecture is divided into three distinct layers. The Top Notes offer a fresh burst of apple, lavender, and mint. The Heart Notes transition into a floral and herbal blend of chamomile, rose, elderflower, honey, and sage. Finally, the Base Notes leave a deep, lingering trail of frankincense, genuine leather, papyrus, and birch wood smoke. Currently, this exclusive item is only available for purchase within the European Union. However, fans across the globe are holding out hope for an international release in the future. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

We never thought we would say this, but you can finally smell like a medieval peasant—only a very, very fancy one! Kingdom Come has always been about extreme realism, and bringing the actual herbs from Henry’s alchemy bench into a luxury perfume is a brilliant move. It’s definitely a step up from the “sweat and horse hay” scent we usually associate with the 15th century. If wearing this makes us feel half as cool as Jan Zizka, then it is a win in our book. Just be careful not to accidentally wander into a duel while you’re smelling that good!
