Apple Releases iOS 27 Beta 4 and iPadOS 27 Beta 4 for Developers

Apple has rolled out the fourth developer beta of iOS 27 and iPadOS 27, continuing its testing cycle ahead of the official public release expected later this year. The latest beta arrives roughly two weeks after the previous build and focuses on improving system stability, refining the user experience, and expanding Apple Intelligence features.

Registered developers can download the update directly through the Settings app by navigating to General > Software Update on a compatible iPhone or iPad.

Siri AI Continues to Evolve

One of the biggest highlights of iOS 27 Beta 4 is the continued evolution of Siri AI.

Apple’s next-generation assistant is designed to provide a more conversational experience, integrating personal information from apps such as Messages and Mail, while also understanding on-screen content to deliver more relevant assistance. These enhancements are part of Apple’s broader Apple Intelligence initiative aimed at making Siri more context-aware and capable of handling increasingly complex requests.

More Apple Intelligence Features Across the System

Apple Intelligence is also expanding into several built-in applications, including Photos, Safari, Shortcuts, Wallet, and Passwords.

The update introduces a dedicated Siri application for AI conversations, along with Write with Siri, a system-wide writing assistant that helps users compose, rewrite, and improve text throughout the operating system.

Apple has continued refining its Liquid Glass interface, adding a new transparency slider that allows users to customize the appearance of the redesigned visual style.

Beyond visual changes, the company has implemented numerous under-the-hood optimizations that improve the overall responsiveness of iPhones and iPads. Users can expect faster app launches, quicker AirDrop transfers, more responsive keyboard input, and smoother transitions when switching between Wi-Fi and cellular networks.

These improvements are designed to enhance the overall user experience across both newer and older supported devices as Apple prepares iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 for their official launch later this year.
