iPhone 17 Pro Crushes Rivals In Charging Test

iPhone 17 Pro has reportedly become the fastest-charging smartphone in a test covering 33 current models.

The test measured average performance across both wired and wireless charging.

The result placed iPhone 17 Pro above several major competitors.

Tested from 10 percent battery

The test focused on real-world usage. Each phone started at 10 percent battery and charged for 30 minutes.

The goal was to see how much battery each model could recover in that short window.

iPhone 17 Pro performed especially well in wireless charging, where it reportedly pulled far ahead of many rivals.

Strong wired and wireless numbers

In wired charging, iPhone 17 Pro reached 74 percent in 30 minutes.

That placed it in a shared second position with Moto G Stylus 2025.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max, standard iPhone 17, and Samsung Galaxy S25 FE followed at 69 percent.

The wireless result created the bigger headline.

iPhone 17 Pro reached 55 percent in 30 minutes through wireless charging. The iPhone 17 Pro Max reached 53 percent, while iPhone 17 reached 49 percent.

The article also notes that Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra reached 39 percent.

Vapor Chamber and new adapter support

The report points to Apple’s design improvements as a key factor.

The iPhone 17 Pro uses Vapor Chamber cooling for the first time. This helps the device handle higher power without slowing down too quickly from heat buildup.

The new 40W Dynamic Power Adapter also helps improve charging efficiency.

For years, “fast charging” was not exactly the iPhone’s loudest bragging point. If these numbers hold up, iPhone 17 Pro just gave Apple fans a very satisfying comeback line.
