Ryu Ga Gotoku (RGG) Studio is taking fan service to an extreme new level. The developers of the Yakuza (now Like a Dragon) series are offering 15 highly dedicated fans the chance to “marry” their favorite character from the series. This unique opportunity is part of a special exhibition in Japan titled The Four Ceremonies of Life. The opportunity is generating massive buzz across the globe.
The Special Wedding Experience Package
The exhibition will house life-sized cardboard panels of 11 different characters from the popular series, including mainstays like Kazuma Kiryu, Goro Majima, and Ichiban Kasuga, as well as other popular characters like Daigo Dojima and Seonhee.
- Cost: The “Special Wedding Experience Package” is priced at 150,000 yen (approximately $980).
- What You Get: This price covers an actual, non-legally binding wedding ceremony with a life-sized cardboard cutout of the chosen character. The package is comprehensive, including:
