Metal Gear Solid Delta: Fox Hunt Won’t Launch Together with Snake Eater

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Fox Hunt will not be available at the same time as Snake Eater . Although the main campaign is almost ready for release later this month, the Fox Hunt multiplayer mode will arrive a little later, sometime in fall 2025—likely between September and November. Fans hoping to dodge bullets in PvP will need to hold on for a bit longer.

Fox Hunt draws on the stealth gameplay and hide-and-seek style of Metal Gear Solid, offering a fresh take on multiplayer combat. This won’t be a standalone game like the original Metal Gear Online, but rather a new mode added via update.

About Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater

Players step into the shoes of Naked Snake, embarking on Operation Snake Eater to track down the legendary warrior who betrayed the government. This prequel to Big Boss first appeared on the PlayStation 2, celebrated for its inventive gameplay—from camouflage shifts to treating injuries on the battlefield.

The game launches on August 28 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Pre-orders for the Deluxe Edition come with a three-day Early Access pass.

Fox Hunt promises a thrilling return to tactical multiplayer within the MGS universe. While it won’t arrive at launch, the wait only heightens the anticipation. Get ready to step back into stealth this time with an unexpected twist.
