In addition to new racer additions, the update features fresh signature machines to match the guest characters’ iconic styles. The reveal comes as part of the game’s announcement of several free post-launch racers previewed in official materials and confirmed to arrive in waves for all players.

For gamers in Southeast Asia and beyond this update signals strong global support. The availability of new characters without extra cost reduces barriers for players in regionally diverse markets and reinforces the game’s value proposition as a worldwide platform. With mobile-first and console cross-play elements increasingly important, this update strengthens the title’s appeal for multiregion audiences.

As the content roadmap continues, more free and paid collaborations are planned. While the influx of new characters keeps the excitement high, it also raises expectations for further updates including new tracks, vehicles and enhancements targeted at international communities. The inclusion of crossover stars like Ichiban Kasuga helps maintain momentum and positions the game as dynamic and accessible for players everywhere.

THIS IS our take

The addition of Ichiban Kasuga as a free guest racer is a savvy move that hits both the nostalgia and value buttons for fans. By giving away popular characters across regions rather than locking them behind paywalls it reinforces the game’s global appeal and keeps the player base engaged. If the update cadence remains strong this could become a case study in region-inclusive content rollout.
