Just weeks after its release, ARC Raiders, the survival shooter from Embark Studios, is making major adjustments based on community feedback. Following widespread criticism over expensive cosmetic pricing, the developers have announced a significant price reduction for in-game skins and decorations, along with the addition of a brand-new Duo mode that enhances cooperative play.

The latest update introduces Duo Matchmaking, allowing players to team up with one friend and join matches against other duos or squads. The system is designed to prioritize balanced team sizes for fair gameplay, ensuring that players of similar group sizes are matched together as much as possible. While Embark Studios notes that complete balance cannot always be guaranteed, the goal is to create a smoother, fairer, and more enjoyable experience for everyone.

Starting November 13, all in-game cosmetics and skins in ARC Raiders’ shop will have reduced prices in response to player concerns about excessive costs some items previously sold for nearly half the game’s base price. Players who purchased items before the adjustment will automatically receive compensation in the form of Raider Tokens, effectively refunding the price difference.
