After over a decade of success, Granblue Fantasy is officially coming to Steam worldwide. Cygames announced during the Granblue Fantasy Fes 2025 livestream on December 28 that the Steam version will launch globally on March 10, 2026, marking a major milestone for the legendary JRPG. This release is especially important for international fans who previously had limited access.
Granblue Fantasy on Steam opens the door to players around the world
The Steam edition will support both English and Japanese, with a 16:9 screen format optimized for PC gameplay. Players in Japan will not have access, and account transfers from mobile or browser versions will not be possible, meaning everyone will start fresh.
Originally released in Japan in 2014, Granblue Fantasy has expanded into anime, manga, and spin-off games such as Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising and Granblue Fantasy: Relink. The game features turn-based combat, cooperative raid modes, full voice acting, and contributions from legends like Nobuo Uematsu and Hideo Minaba. The Steam version opens the franchise to a wider global audience, giving new players a chance to experience this iconic JRPG.
