NetEase Games in collaboration with Joker Studio has announced the Wanderer Test, a Closed Alpha for Sea of Remnants on PC via Steam, taking place from February 5–12, 2026. A new gameplay trailer highlights ship sailing, world exploration, and battles against massive sea monsters, emphasizing the game’s adventure-driven and open-world design.
The Wanderer Test will be free to play, limited in size, and available in English and Japanese. Players can apply to participate via the game’s X (Twitter) account, Steam, Reddit, and Discord until January 23, 12:59 JST. Selected participants will receive notifications afterward.
About Sea of Remnants
Sea of Remnants is a free-to-play, open-world RPG set in a fantastical pirate universe. Players take on the role of a puppet-like sailor with no memory, navigating treacherous seas, battling bizarre creatures, and uncovering the truth about themselves. Choices affect both the world and the pirate city of Orbtopia, which evolves according to player decisions.
