How to Reroll in Arknights: Endfield – Step-by-Step Guide and Best Characters

How to Reroll in Arknights: Endfield

Is rerolling worth it? Let’s analyze in this guide.

What is rerolling in Arknights: Endfield?

Rerolling refers to creating a new account, playing through the early stages of the game until the gacha system unlocks, then using your free pulls to try to get the characters you want. If you don’t get your desired characters, you start over. The goal is to begin your account with strong characters without spending extra money.

How to Reroll in Arknights: Endfield

Step 1: Prepare multiple email accounts since each reroll requires a separate email.

Step 2: Register these emails on the official Arknights: Endfield website. Accounts receive registration rewards, including 20 Standard Banner pulls and 10 New Horizons pulls, totaling 30 initial pulls.

Step 3: Log into the game with your prepared email. Skip all skippable cutscenes and tutorials, but some content cannot be skipped.

Step 4: Play through the introduction until the gacha system unlocks.

Step 5: Open your mailbox and claim all rewards.

Step 6: Use all your 6-star pulls on the Standard Banner. If you get a 6-star character, take note of which account obtained it, as it might become your final choice.

Step 7: Evaluate your pulls. Keep the account if you:

  • Got your target character
  • Got a 6-star from the Limited Banner
  • Got a strong 6-star from the Standard Banner that fits your team plan

Reroll if you:

  • Didn’t get any 6-stars
  • Got a 6-star you don’t intend to use

Step 8: Record which accounts received which characters. This allows you to return to the best account later if rerolling multiple times becomes tedious.

Step 9: Log out and repeat Steps 3–8 with the next email until you get your target character or decide to stop.

Is rerolling worth it in Arknights: Endfield?

Short answer: Not really.

Long answer: Rerolling in this game is notoriously time-consuming compared to other gacha games. Each reroll can take 40–50 minutes. The game’s introduction alone is around 20 minutes and includes unskippable cutscenes, mandatory tutorials, and a boss fight at the end. After the intro, you also need to play through Chapter 1 before unlocking the gacha.

Author’s advice: Should you reroll?

For most players, rerolling isn’t worth the time. Each attempt takes roughly 40–50 minutes with a low chance of getting top-tier characters, unless you’re extremely lucky. The game already provides generous free pulls, allowing you to obtain strong characters without rerolling.

Moreover, Arknights: Endfield emphasizes elemental reactions and team composition. Even if you get a top-tier character, you still need compatible teammates to maximize their potential. A single strong character alone won’t carry your team through everything.

Which characters should you target?

The best target depends on your team goals and how much time you’re willing to invest. In general:

  • Ardelia and Last Rite are strong choices.
  • If luck favors you, you can try for Laevatain.

Limited Banner:

  • Laevatain: Powerful but less flexible than Standard Banner characters.

Standard Banner:

Ardelia: Nature element support who enhances damage and heals. Combo and attack skills reduce enemies’ physical damage. Everyone gets her for free after 14 days, but rerolling can give you early access.

Last Rite: Cyro element sword wielder. Can serve as main or secondary DPS. Excellent for Cyro-focused teams.

Pogranichnik: Physical sword user. Pulls enemies together, restores SP for the team, and boosts physical damage with Breach. Good for physical teams, less effective with elemental teams.

Lifeng: Physical spear user who inflicts debuffs. Effective for physical teams but weaker than Pogranichnik.

Ember: Heat element greatsword user. Hybrid tank and healer. Heals controlled operators and provides team shields.

Reroll Priority Recommendations

  • Best versatile character: Ardelia (even though free later)
  • Best physical DPS: Pogranichnik or Ember
  • Best Cyro DPS: Last Rite

If you plan to reroll, targeting Last Rite is recommended. You will eventually get Ardelia for free, so this adds an extra strong option to your team.

Rerolling in Arknights: Endfield is one of the most challenging gacha experiences due to the time and luck involved. If you choose to reroll, these tips can help you do it efficiently. However, the game is designed to be enjoyable even without rerolling, so don’t burn yourself out just for a single early character.
