Universal Studios Japan to Deliver a Fully Immersive Pokémon Experience

Osaka, Japan, January 29, 2026

On January 27, Universal Studios Japan (USJ), operated by USJ LLC, announced a partnership with The Pokémon Company to develop a global Pokémon experience that is more creative and immersive than ever before. This project is part of Universal Studios Japan’s ongoing efforts to elevate its services and bring beloved characters to life for fans visiting the park.

Universal Studios Japan is proud to build upon its past successes and create a fully realized Pokémon world for the first time. After the Japanese debut, Universal Destinations & Experiences plans to bring this unique Pokémon experience to other countries around the world. Further details about the project will be announced at a later date.


A Vision for Global Entertainment
