Official Dates Confirmed for Next Year’s Event
Taipei Game Show 2026 has officially concluded on a high note, reaffirming its position as one of Asia’s most important gaming events. This year’s show achieved a new milestone, drawing nearly 400,000 attendees across four days, marking one of the highest attendance figures in the event’s history.
Beyond public attendance, the event further strengthened Taipei’s role as a key hub for B2B gaming collaboration, hosting the Asia Pacific Summit with more than 2,000 industry participants from 43 countries worldwide, including developers, publishers, and investors from across the global gaming industry.
Asia Pacific Summit Highlights Industry Trends


The Asia Pacific Summit went beyond traditional industry talks, offering in-depth discussions on game development trends, business strategies, and the growing influence of artificial intelligence in game production.
A total of 26 sessions were held across the main stage and AI-focused stages, featuring industry leaders from Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Canada, and China. These sessions included open Q&A segments that encouraged direct dialogue, idea exchange, and collaboration among participants.
On the B2B side, nearly 2,500 business meetings were conducted, focusing on game development, publishing, and international distribution opportunities.
Indie Games, Board Games, and Community Activities
One of the standout features of Taipei Game Show 2026 was the STOVE Indie Zone, supported by Smilegate. This dedicated space provided independent developers from around the world with opportunities to showcase their projects, network, and connect with both players and industry professionals.
The event also featured Board Game Wonderland, offering a wide selection of board games for purchase and hands-on play. The area was designed to be family friendly, welcoming players of all ages and further expanding the show’s appeal beyond digital gaming.
Major Publishers and Special Events
The final day of the event was packed with special activities and large-scale showcases from major publishers. CAPCOM hosted the Monster Hunter Wilds Championship, in collaboration with JUSTDAN, featuring appearances by producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and director Yuya Tokuda.
BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Taiwan drew massive attention with a large-scale Erdtree display and on-site activities for CODE VEIN II, with both the game’s producer and director interacting closely with fans.
Other highlights included:
- Nintendo’s special party event featuring hands-on demos of Mario Kart World, Kirby Air Riders, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons on Nintendo Switch 2
- Azur Lane cosplay photo sessions that quickly reached full capacity
- Arknights: Endfield’s DJ stage inviting attendees to join in live music activities
- Wuthering Waves mascot appearances, with Bu Bu becoming a popular photo attraction
