Ubisoft has officially announced a major collaboration between The Crew Motorfest and NASCAR, introducing licensed racing content and several new features in Year 3 Season 9. The update launches on March 5 and will be available across multiple platforms including PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and cloud services.
The new season aims to expand the game’s motorsport identity while giving players more creative control over how they experience racing in Motorfest.
NASCAR Motorfest Tour playlist
The highlight of the update is the NASCAR Motorfest Tour playlist, which delivers a full racing experience inspired by the famous stock car series. Players will compete through 10 curated events, progressing from qualifying rounds to the final championship race.
The collaboration also introduces 16 officially licensed NASCAR vehicles, which players can drive anywhere in the Motorfest open world. These cars bring authentic NASCAR performance and style to the Hawaiian islands featured in the game.
According to Mitch Rasmussen, Senior Director of Interactive Media at NASCAR, the collaboration is part of the organization’s effort to expand into digital spaces where new audiences engage with motorsports culture.

Trackforge lets players build their own race tracks
Season 9 also introduces the largest user generated content system ever added to the game. Called Trackforge, this tool allows players to design and share their own race tracks.
Trackforge offers two primary templates:
- Motorsports focusing on competitive circuit racing
- Coaster featuring gravity defying loops and roller coaster style designs
Players can build complex layouts that emphasize precision handling, high speed racing, or creative stunt courses. Once finished, tracks can be shared with the community and driven across the islands of Moloka’i and Lana’i, bringing constantly evolving gameplay experiences.

RC cars arrive in May
Another unusual addition arrives on May 6 with the RC Frenzy playlist, a premium expansion that introduces remote controlled vehicles into the open world.
These miniature racers allow players to explore environments from a different perspective, navigating narrow spaces that normal cars cannot reach. RC cars will also appear in playlist challenges and free roaming activities across the islands.
New vehicles and content throughout the season

Across Season 9, players will see the arrival of 31 new vehicles, released gradually throughout the update cycle.
Some notable additions include:
- Next Gen Ford Mustang Dark Horse Cup Car (2024)
- Next Gen Chevrolet ZL1 Cup Car (2025)
- Next Gen Toyota Camry XSE Cup Car (2025)
- Porsche 935 Racing Car (2019)
- Phazr General Rally Raid RC Car (2026)
- Phazr Trickshot Street RC Car (2026)
These vehicles will appear through the Year Pass, in game store releases, or seasonal events.
Season 9 also brings other gameplay additions including the Island Playground, new Summit Contest challenges, and rotating themed activities in the Main Stage.
With NASCAR racing, player created tracks, and RC vehicles entering the mix, Ubisoft is positioning Year 3 Season 9 as one of the biggest updates yet for The Crew Motorfest.
