Solo Leveling: ARISE adds Reiji Tsukimoto and new game modes

Solo Leveling: ARISE adds new Hunter Reiji Tsukimoto and major content expansion
Netmarble has officially announced a significant update for its hit action RPG, Solo Leveling: ARISE. This March 2026 update introduces a powerful new Wind-element hunter, expands the endgame progression with higher-level artifacts, and continues the epic journey of Sung Jinwoo with new story chapters. Consequently, players now have more ways to customize their combat style and challenge the toughest bosses in the series.
Meet Reiji Tsukimoto: The Wind-Element Blade Master
The highlight of this update is the arrival of Reiji Tsukimoto, a hunter from the Bakken Guild. As a Wind-element specialist, Reiji excels at high-speed combat and precision strikes. His kit is designed around “stacking” mechanics, allowing him to overwhelm enemies with a flurry of attacks that are almost too fast for the naked eye.
Ultimate Skill: “Sharp Blade – Extinction” – Reiji unleashes a blindingly fast sequence of slashes that deals massive area-of-effect damage to all enemies in his path.
Endgame Expansion and New Shadow “Tank”
To keep veteran players challenged, Netmarble has introduced the Hard Mode for the “Invasion of Bright Light” arena. Along with this increased difficulty, the artifact system has been expanded. Players can now obtain and upgrade artifacts to levels 115 and 120. Four new artifact sets have also been added to the loot pool:
- Creator’s Azure Malice
- Magnificent Arrogance
- Kanish’s Persistence
- Elegant Body
Furthermore, the Shadow Army welcomes a new powerful ally: Tank (referred to as “Jao Berm”). This new Shadow increases the Water-element damage of the entire team through his leader effect. To accommodate this growth, the maximum level for the Shadow Army has been increased from 169 to 182.
Quality of Life and Story Updates
The update also streamlines daily activities by merging Instance Dungeons and Mission Logs into a single, unified mode called “Integrated Dungeon.” For those looking for a change in appearance, a new Customization System has been launched, allowing players to modify Sung Jinwoo’s hairstyle and facial features.
The key features of the March update include:
- New Guild Boss: Face off against the Water-element Manticore.
- Story Expansion: Chapters 30 and 31 are now available in both Hard and Reverse Hard modes.
- New Equipment: Farm high-tier gear to optimize your hunters for the new level cap.
- Event Rewards: Participate in the launch events to earn materials for summoning Reiji Tsukimoto.
Solo Leveling: ARISE continues to bring the popular webtoon to life with its fluid combat and faithful storytelling. Whether you are summoning your Shadow Army or customizing Sung Jinwoo’s look, this update provides plenty of reasons to say “Arise” once again. The game is available now on iOS, Android, and PC.
