Netmarble confirms MONGIL: STAR DIVE Global Launch for April 15

Netmarble has officially announced that its highly anticipated action RPG, MONGIL: STAR DIVE, will launch worldwide on April 15, 2026. As the spiritual successor to the 2013 hit Monster Taming, this new title is built on Unreal Engine 5, promising a cinematic narrative and high-octane real-time combat. The game will be available cross-platform on both PC and mobile devices.

Cinematic Action and “Monsterling” Collection

MONGIL: STAR DIVE stands out with its fast-paced three-character tag-team battle system. Players can strategically switch between heroes to execute powerful combos and adapt to enemy patterns. Beyond the core combat, the game introduces the “Monsterling Collection” system. This allows players to capture, collect, and train various monsters to serve as battle companions. Furthermore, these Monsterlings can be customized and combined, adding a deep layer of tactical planning to character progression.

From G-STAR to GDC: Global Anticipation

The road to launch has been paved with successful showcases at international events. Following positive reception at Gamescom and Tokyo Game Show, Netmarble most recently demoed the game at GDC 2026 in San Francisco. Working alongside Xbox, the developers showcased the game’s stability and visual fidelity.
