Alien Deathstorm Announced by Rebellion

Rebellion Announces Brand-New Sci-Fi Horror FPS: Alien Deathstorm

During the highly anticipated Xbox Partner Preview event early this morning, Rebellion—the acclaimed development studio best known for the massive Sniper Elite franchise—officially unveiled a brand-new IP. Stepping away from historical warfare, the studio is plunging players into deep space with Alien Deathstorm, a terrifying first-person sci-fi horror shooter.

Prepare to face off against mysterious, bloodthirsty extraterrestrial threats in a fight for survival. Best of all, it was confirmed that the game will be available as a Day One release on Xbox Game Pass!

About Alien Deathstorm

Alien Deathstorm is an intense first-person action game that completely isolates the player on a devastated off-world colony. The facility has already been utterly ruined by a massive, catastrophic storm, but the situation rapidly deteriorates when the colony is suddenly overrun by a horde of ravenous, bloodthirsty aliens.

Players step into the heavy boots of a highly trained combat engineer. While you are certainly skilled with advanced weaponry, you are entirely unprepared for a terrifying, overwhelming alien invasion of this magnitude. To make matters worse, all forms of communication with the outside universe have been completely severed.

Survive the Apocalypse

With no way to call for immediate backup, your primary objective is to simply survive long enough for a rescue ship to finally arrive. However, you will not just be hiding. Throughout the grueling campaign, players must explore the desolate, ruined colony to uncover the dark truth behind why the facility was abandoned and what exactly triggered the alien assault.

Amidst the seemingly hopeless, apocalyptic environment, you will also be tasked with dangerous rescue missions, doing everything in your power to save the remaining human survivors from an unpredictable and relentless alien threat.

The game is officially scheduled to launch in 2027 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. For those who want to stay completely up to date, the official Steam store page is already live, allowing players to wishlist the game and support the developers immediately.
