Elden Ring Movie Set Leak Reveals Stunning In-Game Like Scenery

Excitement continues to build around the upcoming Elden Ring movie as newly leaked footage reveals a highly detailed set that looks almost identical to the game’s world.

The film, directed by Alex Garland and produced by A24, has already gained attention for its ambitious approach. Garland reportedly went as far as creating a 160-page script with 40 pages of illustrations and personally meeting Hidetaka Miyazaki in Japan to bring the project to life.

Leaked Footage Sparks Fan Theories

A TikTok user known as THROX recently shared a short clip believed to be from the movie set. While the exact filming location remains unknown, fans quickly noticed how closely the environment resembles in-game locations.

The footage features what appears to be a church of Marika, a familiar landmark in the Lands Between. The structure shows clear signs of destruction, adding to the theory that the story takes place after The Shattering.

Details That Mirror the Game

Several elements in the leaked footage have caught the attention of fans:

  • A ruined church structure matching in-game architecture
  • A statue of Marika with one side of her braid cut
  • Surrounding props such as broken wagons, curved crosses, and wooden barrels

These details strongly suggest that the production team is staying faithful to the original game’s design and atmosphere.

Set in The Shattering Era?

Based on the visual clues, many believe the movie will take place during or shortly after The Shattering, a key event in the Elden Ring lore.

However, it remains unclear how the timeline will connect to the journey of the Tarnished or whether the story will explore new perspectives within the universe.

A Promising Adaptation

With the level of detail shown in the leaked footage, the Elden Ring movie is shaping up to be a visually faithful adaptation.

While official casting and additional details are still under wraps, fans are eager to see how the film will interpret the complex world and storytelling of the game.

Elden Ring is currently available on Steam, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version planned.
