The award is part of a monthly poll hosted on the official PlayStation Blog, where players vote for the most memorable new release of the month. In March, Crimson Desert secured the top spot, outperforming notable competitors such as Marathon, MLB The Show 26, and Scott Pilgrim EX, further solidifying its position as one of the standout releases of the year.

It recorded over 2 million copies sold on launch day, surpassed 3 million within four days, and reached 4 million sales in just 12 days.
