Sandisk has officially revealed its latest lineup of professional-grade memory cards at NAB 2026 in Las Vegas, introducing cutting-edge storage solutions designed for modern high-resolution content creation.
Leading the announcement is the SANDISK Extreme PROยฎ CFexpressโข 4.0 Type B Card, alongside upgraded SDXCโข UHS-II V90 and V60 cards, all featuring increased capacities and improved performance for demanding workflows.



Built for 6K, 8K, and Beyond
As content production continues to push into 6K and 8K resolution, along with higher bitrate recording, the need for faster and more stable storage becomes essential.
Sandiskโs new lineup is designed to deliver consistent performance and reliability, ensuring creators can handle intensive recording tasks without interruption.
CFexpress 4.0 Type B: Flagship Performance
The SANDISK Extreme PROยฎ CFexpressโข 4.0 Type B Card is the highlight of this release, offering:
- Read speeds up to 3,700MB/s
- Write speeds up to 3,500MB/s
- Stable sustained write performance for high-bitrate recording
- Capacity up to 4TB
This card is built for cinematic workflows, supporting continuous recording and even 12K video capture.
It is scheduled for release in Q3 2026.
SDXC UHS-II V90: Smooth 8K Recording
The SANDISK Extreme PROยฎ SDXCโข UHS-II V90 Card is tailored for high-end production, delivering:
- Up to 2TB capacity
- Read speeds up to 310MB/s
- Write speeds up to 305MB/s
A 2TB version can record 8K video at 30FPS for over 1,118 minutes, making it ideal for long-form shooting sessions.

SDXC UHS-II V60: Long 6K Recording
For prosumers and professionals, the V60 Card offers a balanced solution:
- Supports 6K video recording
- Up to 2TB capacity
- Read speeds up to 300MB/s
- Write speeds up to 250MB/s
It can record 6K video for up to 22 hours at 24FPS, reducing the need for frequent card changes during extended shoots.
This model is also planned for Q3 2026 release.
