THE KING OF FIGHTERS AFK Adds Rock Howard in Latest Update
Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality games, has released a new update for its AFK RPG THE KING OF FIGHTERS AFK.
The latest update introduces a new fighter, Rock Howard, along with pre-Summer Festival activities, expanded content, and various limited-time events for players to enjoy.
Rock Howard Joins the Game
Rock Howard, the son of Geese Howard and the student of Terry Bogard, is known for his outstanding fighting talent.
Players can now experience his signature skills in THE KING OF FIGHTERS AFK, including Deadly Rave Neo EX and Raging Storm.
Rock Howard also arrives with [Rage] Synergy, giving players new strategic options when building their teams.
His appearance event will run from 11 June to 24 June.
Halloween-Style Fighters Return Before Summer Festival
Before the upcoming Summer Festival update, the game is holding a rerun event to celebrate.
Halloween-style fighters will return during the event period. These include Halloween Style Iori Yagami, who will be available from 11 June to 24 June.
After that, Halloween Style Mature will return from 25 June to 8 July.
Players can obtain 15,000 Seasonal Fighter Tokens through the Seasonal Check-In Event and weekly coupons. These tokens can be used to summon Halloween-style fighters.
[Rage] Synergy Pick-Up Event
The update also brings a [Rage] Synergy Pick-Up Event.
This event will run from 11 June to 24 June and will increase the acquisition rate of fighters with [Rage] Synergy.
This gives players a better chance to strengthen teams built around the new synergy direction introduced through Rock Howard.
More Content Added
This update also expands several types of content in THE KING OF FIGHTERS AFK.
New and expanded content includes Stages, Refuge of the Void Dungeon, Rage City, Laboratory of Conflict, Infinity Challenge, and Influence.
These additions give players more opportunities to develop their fighters, grow their teams, and push their lineup to a higher level.
Limited-Time Events
More limited-time events are also available in this update.
The Lucky LP Event will run from 15 June to 19 June, giving players a chance to obtain the legendary supporter Tendo Gai.
The Ready, Action! event will run from 18 June to 1 July and will feature the legendary pets Goldie and Trumpy.
