Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has announced that Little Nightmares III – The Backstage is now available, bringing new puzzles and challenges into the main game.
This additional content takes players into the deepest and darkest part of the Celebration of Abandonment, where new characters, new threats, and hidden dangers wait behind the curtain.
Players who own the Deluxe Edition can access The Backstage immediately, along with other additional content scheduled to arrive this year.
A Darker Journey Behind the Celebration
The Backstage leads players into a new area connected to the Celebration of Abandonment.
Instead of staying in the open parts of the strange festival, this content pulls players into what hides behind the scenes. The setting promises a more unsettling atmosphere, with new challenges built around fear, mystery, and survival.
Like the main game, the new content continues to use disturbing environments, strange characters, and puzzle-based progression to build tension.
Low Meets a New Child Named Dime
In this new content, Low encounters Dime, a new child character who wears a hat with a flashlight.
Dime becomes an important companion in the journey, helping guide Low through the hidden parts behind the curtain. The flashlight also becomes a key part of the atmosphere, as the children must rely on light while searching for the path forward.
Together, Low and Dime must face new dangers and use what little light they have to survive.
A Mission to Save Alone
The source also reveals that Low and Dime must find a way to save Alone from the grip of the Puppeteer.
This gives The Backstage a clear emotional goal beyond exploration. The new area is not only about discovering another nightmare-like location, but also about rescuing a companion from a terrifying new threat.
For players following the story of Low and Alone, this additional content adds another layer to their journey through the Nightmare Spiral.
New Puzzles and Challenges
Little Nightmares III – The Backstage adds new puzzles and challenges to the experience.
Players can expect to solve environmental obstacles, avoid dangerous enemies, and move carefully through the dark corners of the new location. The focus remains on puzzle-adventure gameplay, where survival depends on timing, observation, and cooperation.
The content also launches with an official trailer, giving players a closer look at the new area and its eerie atmosphere.
