Palworld 1.0 has finally arrived, bringing the survival adventure out of Early Access with one of its biggest updates yet. 2. Collect 72 New Pals
Pocketpair has expanded the Paldeck with 72 new Pals, including brand-new species, elemental variants, and powerful boss creatures.
Players can also experiment with the new Genetic Recombination system, allowing legendary Pals to pass unique traits to future generations. For collectors and breeders, this greatly expands team customization.
3. Faster Combat and Powerful New Weapons
Combat has received a significant overhaul.
Character movement feels much smoother, dodging is more responsive, and players can even reload while rolling to maintain momentum during battles.
New futuristic weapons—including the Plasma Rifle, Laser Sword, and Drone Launcher—add more variety and transform late-game combat into a fast-paced sci-fi experience.
4. Less Grinding, More Adventure
Grinding has been reduced across multiple progression systems.
The number of duplicate Pals needed for upgrades has dropped dramatically, while experience rewards have been rebalanced to make progression feel much faster. The maximum player level has also increased to Level 80, unlocking additional technologies and progression paths.
These improvements allow players to spend less time farming resources and more time exploring new content.
5. Smarter Base Building
Base management has also received several quality-of-life improvements.
Players can now build structures on water, opening up entirely new base designs. Pal AI has also been improved, reducing issues where workers became stuck or failed to complete assigned tasks.
Inventory management is easier thanks to improved filtering and search options, making it much simpler to organize large collections of Pals.
