Netmarble Opens MONGIL: STAR DIVE 2nd CBT Registration

MONGIL: STAR DIVE Opens Registration for 2nd Closed Beta Test

Netmarble has officially announced that MONGIL: STAR DIVE, its highly anticipated action RPG, is opening applications for the second round of its Closed Beta Test (CBT). Following strong feedback and valuable suggestions from players during the first test, this new phase will give fans the chance to experience fresh content and improved systems ahead of the game’s full release.

The development team expressed gratitude to all players who participated in the initial CBT, stating that player feedback has been crucial in making the game more engaging and polished. Registration for the second CBT will run from September 17, 2025 until September 28, 2025.

Those interested can apply through the official CBT page. Players who already applied in the first round will be automatically included in the selection pool, while those who only pre-registered previously must submit a new application. Selected players will be notified via email with access details.

Key details for the second CBT include PC-only access, no payment system during the test, and all progress will be wiped after the test ends. Players are free to stream, record, and capture footage during gameplay, but account transfers or sales are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate revocation of access if detected.

To further reward participants, the team has prepared special events. The Recruitment Giveaway Event automatically enters all applicants into a prize draw, with 20 winners receiving a $10 Amazon gift card. Meanwhile, the Survey Event rewards CBT participants who complete an in-game survey with an exclusive profile frame upon the official launch, while also giving 50 additional players the chance to win a $10 Amazon gift card.

Powered by Unreal Engine 5, MONGIL: STAR DIVE delivers stunning visuals and immersive gameplay as players join Verna and Cloud on an epic journey alongside Yaongi, a companion capable of capturing and training monsters. Players can build a three-member battle team and engage in fast-paced, strategic tag-team combat.

With its advanced technology, monster capturing system, and thrilling battle mechanics, the second CBT promises to showcase the full potential of this ambitious new RPG. For fans in SEA and around the world, this test is more than just a preview — it’s a chance to help shape one of Netmarble’s most exciting projects in recent years.
