Bonfire Studios has officially announced Arkheron, a team-based action PvP game that brings fast-paced combat into a mysterious tower filled with danger and secrets. The Alpha Playtest will run on PC via Steam from September 19 to 21, giving players an early chance to experience the intensity before its full launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
About Arkheron
Arkheron is set in a dark surreal world shaped by fragments of human memories and emotions. Within this realm, 15 teams are drawn into a mysterious tower where survival means battling through destructive forces known as the Abyss. Each match challenges players to adapt quickly, collect powerful items, and outlast rivals in order to climb higher.
The game emphasizes dynamic three-player team competition, where speed, strategy, and precision are vital. Players must collect items called Relics, which act as both weapons and sources of unique powers. By mixing and matching Relics, teams can create entirely new builds every round, making each battle unpredictable and unique.
Core Features
The highlight of Arkheron is its Ascension Royale mode, where 15 teams compete for control of Beacons across multiple levels of the tower. Only one team remains to face the final 3v3 showdown at the top, delivering a climactic conclusion to every match.
Relics serve as the heart of Arkheron’s gameplay. Each Relic provides special abilities that can instantly change a team’s strategy, and collecting full sets allows players to transform into powerful Eternals, unlocking devastating abilities that can turn the tide of battle.
Combat is fast, close-range, and pressure-filled, using an isometric free-aim perspective that demands precise movement, targeting, and timing. Intense sound design adds to the high-stakes atmosphere, ensuring every encounter feels impactful.
Unlike class-restricted games, Arkheron offers true build freedom. Players can mix Relics in countless ways, resulting in custom playstyles and limitless tactical options.
