Summoners War Unleashes ‘Challenge Battle’ – A True Esports Mode With Intense New Competition
Com2uS has rolled out a thrilling new update for Summoners War, introducing the highly anticipated ‘Challenge Battle’ mode that brings real-time strategy, unpredictable matchups, and the ultimate test of skill to the World Arena. Players can now step into an esports-style battlefield where strategy, adaptability, and creativity are key to victory.
The new Challenge Battle mode requires players to build their teams using a fixed pool of monsters provided by the system. In each match, all participants will have access to the same pool of 40 fully maxed-out 6★ level 40 monsters, complete with awakened abilities, maxed-out skills, runes, and artifacts. From this pool, the system randomly selects 12 monsters for players to choose from ensuring that no two opponents have overlapping picks. This unpredictable draft system pushes strategic thinking to the next level, as no match will ever play out the same way.
Players can enter the Challenge Battle up to 10 times per day, battling continuously until they suffer three defeats. The challenge is to see how many victories they can achieve in each run. This new mode levels the playing field for all, giving newcomers and returning players a chance to experience powerful monsters regardless of their own roster strength. At the same time, veteran summoners will face heightened competition, where every choice and tactical decision matters.
The update also comes with a wide array of rewards to fuel the competitive spirit. Players can earn crystals and legendary summoning scrolls based on their highest number of wins in a single run. Additional prizes, including mystical scrolls, grindstones, Devilmons, and Light & Dark scrolls, are awarded based on total accumulated victories. Rewards reset every month, giving players ongoing reasons to sharpen their skills and climb higher.
The new Challenge Battle mode transforms Summoners War into a more dynamic, competitive experience whether you’re a casual player seeking variety, a returning summoner looking to test new strategies, or a top-tier player craving intense, unpredictable battles.
There are also many rewards that will help you increase the fire of victory. Crystals and Legendary Scrolls are awarded based on the maximum number of victories each time, and other rewards are awarded based on the number of cumulative victories, such as the Scroll of Magic, Forged Stone, Devil Mon, and the Book of Light and Darkness.
