Xbox Game Pass Price Hike Hits Worldwide

Xbox Game Pass Price Hike Hits Thailand and Worldwide
Microsoft has announced a global price increase for Xbox Game Pass, effective immediately. New subscribers will notice updated pricing across all regions, reflecting rising operational costs and evolving market trends.
Updated Game Pass Tiers
Game Pass Ultimate rises from $19.99 to $29.99, offering over 75 day-one titles, access to Ubisoft+ Classics, EA Play integration, and upcoming Fortnite Crew benefits including battle passes and Rocket League content. Players can also earn up to $100 yearly in store credits through missions.
Game Pass Standard has been renamed Premium, keeping the same price but expanding its game lineup.
Game Pass Core is now Essential, maintaining the same price and offering more than 50 titles.

Cloud Gaming Benefits
Both Premium and Essential tiers now include unlimited Cloud Gaming, though queue times and streaming quality may vary. Premium ensures 1st-party titles (excluding Call of Duty) become available within one year of release, while Essential offers a growing selection of 50+ games.

Promotions and Trials
New players can access promotional trial offers (region-dependent), after which subscriptions renew at the updated price. All tiers continue to include online multiplayer benefits and weekly deals.
Why This Matters
Game Pass remains an attractive option for gamers seeking access to AAA titles and diverse content across Xbox consoles, PC, and Cloud, with the Ultimate tier now offering significantly more value despite the price increase.
