A Hand-Drawn Retelling of the Wolf’s Journey
Sekiro: No Defeat is a 2D hand-drawn production aiming to capture the atmospheric dread and high-speed lethality of the Sengoku-era game. The trailer showcases iconic locations like Ashina Castle and features the “One-Armed Wolf” in a desperate struggle to protect the Divine Heir, Kuro, from the forces of Genichiro Ashina.

Notably, the production company Qzil.la issued a statement clarifying that the project is entirely hand-drawn, addressing early social media rumors regarding the use of generative AI.
