Pearl Abyss has launched Edania – The Demon Realm, a significant expansion for Black Desert, marking the conclusion of Act 1 and introducing a new chapter filled with challenging content and rich lore. This update is designed for end-game players, featuring intricate boss battles, a new PvP mode, and expansive hunting zones.

• New Region – Edania:
  Edania introduces five major castles, each ruled by a Demon Lord: Jordine, Rusalka, Enslar, Cartian, and Caphras. These areas offer unique challenges and are accessible after completing the main questline, “The Final Gladious,” on any character.
  
• PvE Boss Battles:
  Players can engage in weekly solo boss raids against formidable foes like Jordine and Rusalka. Defeating these bosses yields powerful artifacts and lightstones, which can be combined to create enhanced versions, such as Dehkia’s Visionary Artifact and Amplified Lightstone of Fire.
  
• PvP Mode – Edana’s Throne:
  Every Sunday, players can participate in a free-for-all duel within each Demon Lord’s castle. The last survivor gains immense authority in that domain, earning the title “King of Edania” and exclusive buffs.
  
• New Gear and Items:
  The expansion introduces Edana’s Defense Gear, Sovereign Sub-weapons, and new alchemy items. Players can craft these using materials like Primordial Fragments and Gems of the Primordial, obtained through quests and boss encounters.
  
• Life Skills Expansion:
  Edania offers new resources and fishing species, enriching the life skills experience with over 20 new items, including furniture and consumables.
