Frame Zero – A New Psychological Horror Survival Game from the Creator of The Occultist

This Halloween season, developer DALOAR, known for The Occultist, has unveiled its latest nightmare: Frame Zero. The game takes players deep into a world of fear, faith, and madness through the eyes of a desperate journalist trapped in a cursed apartment building filled with blood, violence, and dark rituals.

In Frame Zero, players assume the role of Daniel, a cameraman accompanying Emma, an independent reporter, on a mission to investigate the mysterious death of a famous exorcist priest. Upon arriving at the priest’s apartment, the duo finds that all residents have perished under grim circumstances. What begins as a routine report soon spirals into terror as they uncover remnants of an unfinished ritual from decades ago.

As the investigation unfolds, Daniel learns that the priest died during a failed exorcism, attempting to save a possessed girl who was later sealed away in the attic. Unfortunately, she is released by mistake, unleashing chaos throughout the building. When Emma mysteriously disappears, Daniel is left alone with nothing but his camera, forced to navigate through the shadows and unravel the horrific truth before it consumes him.

With its oppressive atmosphere, chilling storytelling, and psychological depth, Frame Zero promises to push the horror genre to new extremes. The game combines first-person exploration with survival elements, encouraging players to rely on observation and limited resources to endure the nightmare.

Frame Zero is scheduled for release on PC in 2027. While details on its official Steam page are still under wraps, horror fans can already anticipate a grim and haunting experience worthy of DALOAR’s legacy. Stay tuned for more updates as the story of faith and fear unfolds.
