Players Confused: No First Aid Spray in Resident Evil Requiem

Who Noticed? Players Confused Resident Evil Requiem Has No First Aid Spray in Rhodes Hill Level

It has been almost a month since the release of Resident Evil Requiem, the newest game in the biohazard franchise. It has been a major gift for fans, packed with answers to many lingering questions following the events of the major Raccoon City incident. However, the early part of the game set in the Rhodes Hill hospital has confusingly become a hot topic of discussion on the internet.

In a post by user DragonSoulYT101, it was noted that this Resident Evil installment does not feature a single can of First Aid Spray, even after spending half the time inside a hospital. This sparked continuous discussions and strange theories, such as Victor knowing that the protagonists use sprays frequently, prompting him to remove them all and leave only naturally occurring herbs. Others tied it to the story in interesting ways: since the spray is typically an Umbrella product, it naturally disappeared or was cleared out when the organization collapsed.

However, the most likely possibility is that the First Aid Spray was simply replaced by the syringe. Many players also pointed out that Rhodes Hill is not actually a hospital, but rather a “Care Center” designed for rehabilitation “rather than treatment.” Come to think of it, almost no one noticed the healing spray was gone at first. Perhaps fear influenced our thoughts until we forgot about this element, or perhaps we cannot deny that during many players’ first playthroughs, everyone possessed the spirit of John Wick!?

About Resident Evil Requiem

The latest survival horror sequel tells the story of Grace Ashcroft, the daughter of Alyssa, the tough female journalist who survived the T-Virus outbreak in 1998. One day, her mother is mysteriously murdered, and Grace must travel to the place of her nightmarish memories. It might also be connected to the forgotten past of the city.

The game is available today on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. It offers a thrilling and hair-raising experience powered by the advanced RE Engine, developed specifically for next-gen devices to give us more realistic characters, scenarios, and storytelling than ever before as the official ninth mainline game.
