Crimson Desert Mod Adds Character Creation System for Custom Warriors
A brand-new mod is giving Crimson Desert players something they have been asking for since the game’s reveal, a full character creation system. While the game already features strong preset characters like Kliff and other unlockable figures with their own narratives, many fans have longed for the ability to craft a more personal experience similar to Black Desert Online.
Now, thanks to modder Khione95, that wish is becoming a reality. The newly released mod introduces a flexible system that allows players to design their own character and step into the vast fantasy world with a unique identity.
A Simple Yet Powerful Customization System
The mod, titled Character Creator, works by integrating customization options directly into the in-game Barber shop. From there, players can freely alter their character’s appearance with a wide range of options.
Currently, the mod includes 98 different face presets and 159 hairstyle choices, giving players a solid variety to experiment with. Once installed, the character model is automatically set to female, as the current version focuses exclusively on female customization.
Interestingly, some face options are categorized under the “beard” section, which may require a bit of exploration to find the desired look.
More Features Planned for Future Updates
Although the current version is limited to female characters, the mod creator has already confirmed that a male version is in development. Future updates are also expected to expand customization even further, including options like adjusting eyebrow shapes and eye details.
To ensure proper functionality, players will need to install additional tools such as Kliff Female Voice for voice output and JSON Mod Manager to manage the mod files. These requirements are essential for enabling the full experience.
However, it is important to note that this mod is not compatible with other barber-related mods, such as Barber Unlocked. Players should carefully manage their mod setups to avoid conflicts.
