Pearl Abyss Celebrates PlayStation recognition for Crimson Desert
Featured as a Game to Look Forward To, Nominated for “Most Anticipated Games Coming to PlayStation 5 in 2026”
Amsterdam, The Netherlands – 10 December 2025 – Pearl Abyss today announced that Crimson Desert, the studio’s highly anticipated open-world action-adventure title, has been recognized twice this week by PlayStation, underscoring rising global excitement ahead of the game’s launch.
Today, PlayStation highlighted Crimson Desert as one of the premier games to look forward to, placing the title alongside other major upcoming releases in its year-end editorial coverage.
In addition, the PlayStation Blog has officially nominated Crimson Desert for the Most Anticipated Game of 2026 and Beyond category in the annual PS Blog Game of the Year Awards.

As a community-driven program, all winners are decided entirely by player voting. Games receiving the majority of votes in each category will earn Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum PS Blog trophies when results are announced in the coming weeks.
Crimson Desert’s nomination reflects strong player interest, as only community votes determine the winners.
