Dead by Daylight Launches Stranger Things Chapter 2 Featuring Eleven, Dustin, and Vecna
Dead by Daylight continues to maintain its popularity, in large part due to its frequent collaborations with films and horror franchises. Bringing new survivors, killers, and powerful perks into the game has become an annual highlight that keeps the community engaged.
The latest update sees Dead by Daylight partnering with Netflix’s Stranger Things for the second time. The first collaboration in 2019 introduced Demogorgon, Steve Harrington, and Nancy Wheeler to the game. Now, Stranger Things Chapter 2 expands the story, introducing new threats from Season 4, including the sinister villain Henry Creel, also known as 001, Vecna, or The First.
Henry Creel remains focused on spreading evil from the Upside Down and reshaping humanity according to his will. Despite his destructive potential, the residents of Hawkins will not remain passive. Dustin and Eleven play critical roles in thwarting Vecna’s plans, demonstrating that courage, intelligence, and psychic power can change the course of events even in the most desperate situations.
Although Stranger Things has concluded as a series, a darker chapter begins in The Fog, with Henry Creel, or The First, at the center of the chaos. His abilities allow him to manipulate reality, create the Upside Down, and trap weaker beings with vines and other hazards. Survivors caught in his curse face altered perceptions, making them more vulnerable to his attacks.
Vecna’s Perks
Turn Back the Clock
After hanging a survivor for 60 seconds, target a generator within 20 meters to trigger an explosion, reducing its repair progress by 10% and causing regression over time.
Secret Project
Every time a survivor is cleansed or a totem is blessed, randomly lock a generator for 30 seconds. Locked generators cannot be revealed for 30 seconds.
Hex: Hive Mind
When hanging the first survivor, a normal totem is cursed. While the totem is active, all generator auras intensify as they are repaired. When only one generator remains, the curse ends, and all remaining generators’ repair progress is reduced by 10% with regression over time.
New Survivors: Dustin and Eleven
The obstacles in front of Henry Creel are Hawkins’ most determined survivors: Dustin Henderson and Jane “Eleven” Hopper. Dustin brings leadership, quick thinking, and imagination, while Eleven contributes extraordinary psychic powers and unwavering devotion to her chosen family.
Their unique abilities enhance the fight against Vecna, building on the previous roster that includes Steve Harrington, Nancy Wheeler, and Jonathan Byers with legendary skins.
Dustin’s Perks
Bada Bada Boom – After repairing 20% of a generator, gain the ability to block windows for 60 seconds. Killers attempting to vault are slowed by 50% for 6 seconds.
Change of Plan – Enter a locker with a toolbox to swap it for a medkit of the same rarity with full charge. Can be used twice.
Teamwork: Full Circuit – Repairing a generator with other survivors increases skill check size by 25% and repair speed by 5%.
Eleven’s Perks
Extrasensory Perception – Crouching for 4 seconds reveals auras within 44 meters. Effect ends if standing or after 11 seconds.
We See You – Gain tokens when a killer reveals your aura. Spend 4 tokens to reveal the killer’s aura to all survivors for 15 seconds. Short cooldown follows.
Teamwork: Soft Spoken – Repairing a generator with other survivors reduces noise by 25% and increases repair speed by 5%.
Legendary Skins: Robin Buckley and Eddie Munson
Dead by Daylight adds two more fan-favorite Stranger Things characters as legendary skins. Robin Buckley becomes a skin for Nancy Wheeler, while Eddie Munson transforms Dustin Henderson. Both skins include original voice acting and are available for purchase in the in-game store.
Stranger Things Chapter 2 will be available in Dead by Daylight on January 27, 2026. Fans of the series should not miss the chance to step into The Fog and challenge Vecna with the new survivors and perks.
