Minecraft Players Bring Armored Core to Life with POMKOTS MECHS
The Minecraft community continues to impress with ambitious projects, and one player has taken the legendary mech combat series Armored Core into the sandbox world with a fully playable map called POMKOTS MECHS. Unlike ordinary skins or mods, this project features a complete gameplay system, allowing players to pilot mechs in a detailed post-apocalyptic Minecraft world.
Building the Mech Combat World
Developer grc_mcs, creator of the Pomkots Mechs mod, shared updates on X revealing the construction of abandoned military bases with bosses, treasure chests, and mob spawn points. The map includes pre-boss encounters where players collect historical logs from treasure boxes. Once all logs are gathered, players can face the area boss in a fully scripted challenge.
This mod pack focuses on Armored Core-style gameplay in a post-apocalyptic setting. Players can explore, gather resources, and upgrade their mechs freely. Initially, grc_mcs developed separate elements such as mechs, bosses, and maps, but is now integrating everything into a survival mode to provide a more complete and challenging experience.

The developer also revealed work on new mechs, mobs, procedurally generated ruined cities using the Lost Cities Mod, base defense systems, and mech part crafting mechanics. Fans can view the mod and development progress through the link shared by grc_mcs.
Minecraft: Endless Creativity Meets Survival
Minecraft is a sandbox game that encourages players to unleash creativity with colorful voxel blocks. Beyond building, players face survival challenges against monsters in Survival Mode. The game supports multiple platforms, VR gameplay, and cross-platform play, allowing friends to adventure together seamlessly.
With POMKOTS MECHS, Minecraft fans can now experience mech combat, exploration, and survival in a fully integrated, Armored Core-inspired world.
