PARANORMASIGHT: The Mermaid’s Curse Now Open for Pre-Registration
Square Enix has officially opened pre-registration for PARANORMASIGHT: The Mermaid’s Curse, the latest installment in the adventure-investigation series. Set in a tropical maritime region filled with legends and mysteries, the game introduces new characters and a thrilling storyline. Pre-registration is now available on mobile platforms, with console and PC versions also available for pre-order.
About the Game
This new entry takes players to Ise Island, Japan, a place steeped in mermaid legends. Players meet Yuza, a young pearl diver, and his friend Azami as they navigate daily life under the sea. One day, Yuza encounters a supernatural phenomenon involving a shadow version of himself, triggering a mysterious curse that begins to impact the island.
Players must investigate the mermaid curse, exploring different perspectives to uncover clues and reach a dramatic conclusion. The game features realistic depictions of the island, developed in collaboration with Mie Prefecture, with 360° environments that allow full exploration. Additional gameplay features include new mechanics and a diving mini-game to enhance the adventure.
