RUINER 2 officially announced for PC
The cyberpunk action world of RUINER is returning with a new sequel. Developer Reikon Games has officially announced RUINER 2, bringing back the fast-paced combat and dystopian atmosphere that made the original title popular among action game fans.
The new installment will launch first on PC, giving players another chance to dive into a violent cyberpunk future filled with technology, crime, and brutal combat.
A return to the cyberpunk city of Rengkok
RUINER 2 continues the series’ gritty setting in the futuristic metropolis of Rengkok.
The city represents a world where advanced technology dominates society. Humans, cybernetic enhancements, and biological experimentation have merged into a chaotic ecosystem controlled by powerful organizations.
Players will step into the role of a survivor navigating this dangerous environment while uncovering secrets within a dystopian system that controls everything, even the rights to life and death.
Top down action RPG gameplay with co-op
Like its predecessor, RUINER 2 is a top down action RPG that focuses on fast, precise combat.
Players can explore the cyberpunk world while battling enemies using a combination of weapons, abilities, and hacking tools. The game will also support cooperative gameplay, allowing players to fight alongside allies in the futuristic battlefield.
Introducing the Shell System
One of the new features in RUINER 2 is the Shell System.
This mechanic allows players to issue commands to companion bodies that travel alongside them. These additional units can be customized to serve different roles such as offensive attackers or supportive allies.
Players can also take direct control of these shells instead of leaving them to artificial intelligence, giving more strategic options during combat encounters.
Hacking abilities and character progression
