The Drop is Hot! Fortnite Officially Returns to the Google Play Store

Get ready to thank the bus driver! After years of legal disputes and workarounds, Epic Games has officially confirmed that the mobile version of Fortnite is back on the Google Play Store.

Starting today, Android players in Thailand and across the globe can download the game natively directly from Google Play, completely bypassing the need to install the separate Epic Games Mobile App.

The Journey Back to Android

For those who need a quick recap: Fortnite was famously pulled from both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store years ago due to disputes over in-app purchase revenue cuts. While Epic Games brought the title back to mobile devices in 2024 via their own independent storefront app, this new update means Android users can finally enjoy the convenience of a direct, native Google Play download.

The game remains free-to-play, featuring a fully localized pricing structure for your region when purchasing V-Bucks, the Battle Pass, or cosmetics.
