Oceanhorn 3 action-adventure game now playable on Apple devices
Mobile players can now jump into a new adventure as Oceanhorn 3 officially launches through Apple Arcade.
The latest entry in the beloved adventure series arrives nearly seven years after the previous installment and continues the franchise’s tradition of delivering a Zelda inspired action adventure experience.
A new chapter set far in the future
Oceanhorn 3 tells a story set 1,000 years after the events of the second game. Players take on the role of a hero who must travel across the mysterious Sea of Shadows.
The protagonist joins forces with a pirate companion named Em in search of the lost secrets of the gods while attempting to restore hope to the citizens of Red Town.
Expanded gameplay and exploration
The new installment introduces smoother gameplay systems, improved graphics, and deeper mechanics designed to enhance the overall adventure.
Players can explore a vast world filled with hidden puzzles, optional quests, and powerful enemies waiting to challenge them.
Massive boss battles also play a major role in the experience, requiring strategy and quick reflexes to defeat.
New systems and features
Oceanhorn 3 expands the series with several gameplay additions.
The game features a Skill Tree system that allows players to upgrade their hero’s abilities over time. A crafting system also enables players to create useful items that support exploration and combat.
One of the most notable additions is the first person camera option, which lets players experience the world directly through the eyes of the main character for the first time in the series.
Premium experience through Apple Arcade
As part of the Apple Arcade library, Oceanhorn 3 offers a premium gaming experience without in game microtransactions.
Subscribers can play the game across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV, and the title also supports offline play.
The Apple Arcade service can be accessed either as a standalone subscription or as part of the Apple One bundle.
