Mobile GameNew Release

Rainbow Six Mobile Is Now Free to Play Worldwide on iOS and Android

Ubisoft has officially launched Rainbow Six Mobile as a free-to-play title on both iOS and Android, making the tactical FPS experience available to players across the globe, including the SEA region.

Designed specifically for mobile devices, Rainbow Six Mobile adapts the core identity of the franchise while introducing controls, features, and content optimized for handheld play.

Tactical 5v5 Gameplay Built for Mobile

Rainbow Six Mobile delivers the signature Attack vs Defense formula in intense 5v5 PvP matches. Each round focuses on strategy, teamwork, and environmental destruction rather than pure reflex shooting.

Attackers deploy drones to gather intel and breach destructible walls, floors, and ceilings. Meanwhile, defenders fortify objectives using traps, cameras, and clever positioning. Because of this structure, every match rewards coordination and planning over raw firepower.

Familiar Operators and Iconic Maps

At launch, players can access more than 20 Operators inspired by Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, including Ash, Mute, and Dokkaebi. Each Operator retains unique gadgets and abilities, encouraging diverse team compositions.

The game also features classic maps such as Bank, Border, Clubhouse, Oregon, and Villa. In addition, Rainbow Six Mobile introduces mobile-exclusive maps like Restaurant and Summit, designed to suit shorter match sessions without losing tactical depth.

Multiple Game Modes and Competitive Options

Rainbow Six Mobile launches with several modes to suit different playstyles. Core modes include Bomb and Bomb Rush, while Team Deathmatch offers a faster-paced alternative. Players can also jump into Ranked matches, Quick Play, or set up Private Matches with friends.

To support new players, Ubisoft includes a dedicated tutorial system that explains core mechanics, Operator roles, and tactical fundamentals step by step.

Ongoing Seasonal Content and Live Support

Ubisoft confirms that Rainbow Six Mobile will receive continuous updates through seasonal content. These updates will introduce new Operators, maps, balance adjustments, and limited-time events. As a result, the meta will continue to evolve, keeping competitive play fresh.

Development is led by Ubisoft Montreal, with support from Ubisoft studios in Winnipeg, Halifax, Bucharest, and Chengdu.

A Tactical FPS That Fits the Mobile Platform

Rather than simplifying its systems, Rainbow Six Mobile carefully translates the franchise’s tactical DNA to touchscreens. Shorter match lengths, refined controls, and optimized performance ensure accessibility without sacrificing strategic complexity.

For fans of competitive shooters who value teamwork and planning, Rainbow Six Mobile offers one of the deepest FPS experiences currently available on mobile devices.
