The Closed Beta will run from December 22, 2025, to January 16, 2026, giving fans a chance to experience the game’s unusual mix of emotional team management, combat encounters, and delivery missions set within the Orkotris Region. The full release is planned for Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5 in the summer, supporting both Japanese and English voiceovers, though the western launch date is still awaiting confirmation.

Set in a vibrant world filled with strange terrains, dangerous monsters, and rival delivery teams, the game places players in charge of a chaotic crew whose emotional states matter as much as their combat skills. Team members perform better when happy and may ignore commands when upset, adding unpredictable twists that can either help secure victory or derail a mission entirely. Deliveries begin at the announcement board, where players pick up jobs, examine packages, prepare gear, and assemble the right team for each route, earning generous rewards once items reach their destination intact.
Exploration unfolds through a roulette-based mechanic that determines movement and encounters, allowing players to land on shops, gather rare packages, and face hidden bosses along the way. The game features character designs and worldbuilding by Kei Nanameda, known for Mary Skelter and Death end re;Quest, ensuring lively characters, intense battles, and playful dialogue that give this delivery-focused adventure a distinct charm as it edges toward its worldwide release on multiple platforms.
Calamity Angels: Special Delivery looks set to stand out with its emotional combat twists and roulette-style exploration, making it one of next year’s most unconventional RPG launches and a title we expect players in SEA to keep a close eye on.
