Neverness to Everness prepares for full global release across all platforms

The anime open-world contender finally gets a launch date
Neverness to Everness, often described by fans as an “anime GTA,” has officially confirmed its global release date. The ambitious open-world RPG from Hotta Studio will launch worldwide on April 29, 2026. More importantly, the game will release simultaneously across all major platforms, signaling strong confidence from the development team.
At launch, Neverness to Everness will be available on iOS, Android, PlayStation 5, and PC with support for both Windows and macOS. In addition, the game supports full cross-platform play and cross-progression, allowing players to switch devices freely without losing progress. Thai subtitles are also confirmed, making the experience more accessible to SEA players.
A supernatural city where the abnormal feels normal
The game takes place in Hethereau, a modern city where humans coexist with supernatural phenomena known as Anomalies. Over time, these strange events have become part of everyday life. However, beneath the surface, the city hides growing instability that threatens to spiral out of control.
Players take on the role of an Appraiser, an investigator and anomaly hunter working for an antique shop called Eibon. While the shop appears ordinary, it actually serves as a front for handling dangerous supernatural cases across the city. As the story unfolds, players uncover deeper truths behind Hethereau’s distorted reality.
Anomalies, Espers, and a distorted reality
Unlike traditional monsters, Anomalies represent warped dimensions and broken physics. Examples include animals with electronic heads, buildings that transform into labyrinths, and events that rewrite the rules of gravity and space. Because of this, exploration constantly delivers unexpected situations.
To combat these threats, players rely on Espers, characters gifted with supernatural abilities. These Espers form the game’s core playable roster and are obtained through a character acquisition system. Each Esper brings unique powers that shape combat, traversal, and team composition.
More than combat, it is a city you live in
Hotta Studio aims to bridge the gap between action RPGs and urban life simulators. As a result, Neverness to Everness places heavy emphasis on everyday activities alongside high-intensity combat.
Players can purchase and customize vehicles, including detailed tuning and cosmetic modifications. In addition, housing and interior decoration systems allow players to own property and personalize living spaces. Beyond that, players can even manage businesses within the city, adding an economic layer rarely seen in action RPGs.
NPCs follow daily routines and react dynamically to player actions. For example, reckless driving or property damage can trigger real-time responses from the environment. Consequently, the city feels reactive rather than static.
Movement and combat built for constant flow
Traversal in Neverness to Everness goes far beyond running or fast travel. Each Esper features unique mobility abilities, such as wall-running through gravity manipulation, dimensional warping, or high-speed movement across city blocks. Because of this, exploration remains fast, vertical, and engaging.
Combat follows the same philosophy. Battles unfold seamlessly within the open world without loading screens. Players can form teams of three to four characters and chain skills together for fluid combo-based action. The system builds upon Hotta Studio’s experience with fast-paced combat while aiming for greater realism and continuity.
Pre-registration rewards and launch incentives
Pre-registration is now open across the App Store, Google Play, and the official website. Players who register early will receive launch rewards, including an A-Class character, gacha resources, and in-game currency. These bonuses are designed to give newcomers a strong starting advantage when the servers go live.
With its simultaneous multi-platform launch, modern urban setting, and bold approach to open-world design, Neverness to Everness stands out as one of the most anticipated anime-style RPGs of the year. Whether it can live up to the “anime GTA” label remains to be seen, but the wait will finally be over on April 29.
