Idol Queen Sasshi Opens Her Custom Pokémon Pokopia Island to the Public!
The cozy simulation community is currently buzzing with the massive success of Pokémon Pokopia. The game has broken records to become one of the best-selling spin-off titles, with physical cartridges selling out rapidly. To celebrate its massive launch in Japan, The Pokémon Company brought in celebrity producer and former AKB48/HKT48 idol Rino Sashihara (affectionately known as Sasshi) for a major promotional campaign.
Now, the promotion is going a step further: Sasshi has officially opened the gates to her very own, hand-crafted island within the game!
Welcome to “Sashihara Shima”
Starting today, players can take a virtual vacation to Sashihara Shima (Sashihara Island). Designed entirely by Sasshi herself, the island is heavily themed around a massive, luxurious summer water park.
Visitors will find:
- A cozy sand hut situated right in the middle of a massive pool.
- Fancy inflatable beds perfect for virtual sunbathing.
- Scattered beach loungers and an adorable, giant Snorlax bed.
It is truly the ultimate summer paradise for players looking to relax.
How to Visit Sasshi’s Island
If you want to take a tour of this idol-designed resort, you will need to meet a few in-game requirements and use a specific code. Here is exactly what you need to do:
- Level Up: Ensure your starting area’s Environmental Level is at least Level 3.
- Get Online: You must have an active Nintendo Switch Online (NSO) subscription to access the network features.
- Equip the Item: Purchase and equip the Mysterious Goggles in-game.
- Enter the Code: Input the special visit code:
MGL4 83P4.
Pro-Tip: While visiting Sashihara Shima, you can use the in-game photo feature to copy the furniture and items you see, allowing you to easily recreate Sasshi’s aesthetic back in your own town!
